| Our children’s centers provide warm, safe, child-friendly environments at courthouses where children can learn and play while their parents deal with cases of domestic violence, abuse, and other issues. | Each year, Safe Horizon reaches more than 19,000 homeless youth. These older children live on the streets, away from home and school, and in need of education if they are to have a chance at a normal, self-sufficient life. Our resource centers for youth help them find shelter and resources -- from eating a hot meal to preparing for the GED exams. We give them refuge and rescue. |
